KOCHI: Actor and director Sreenivasan, director Siddique and businessman Kochouseph Chittilappilly have joined Twenty20. The party has also announced candidates in five constituencies in the Ernakulam district. This is the first phase list of candidates of the party which announced they will contest in all 14 constituencies in Ernakulam.

PJ Joseph's son-in-law Jose Joseph will compete as a Twenty20 candidate in Kothamangalam. CN Prakash, a visual media worker, is the candidate from Muvattupuzha constituency. Dr. Sujith P Surendran will contest as the candidate from Kunnathunadu, Chitra Sukumaran from Perumbavoor and Dr. Job Chakkalakkal from Vypin.

Businessman Kochouseph Chittilappilly has been elected chairman of the Twenty20 Advisory Council. A five-member advisory board comprising director and actor Srinivasan and director Siddique has also been appointed. Actor Srinivasan had made it clear that he won't be contesting in the Assembly elections. Srinivasan says he has high hopes for Twenty20.

Sreenivasan opined that Twenty20 can be a role model for Kerala itself and that's why he is offering his support. He further added that he wants Metro Man E Sreedharan and Jacob Thomas to leave BJP and come to Twenty20. Sreenivasan hopes that those who have entered politics in the last few days will return to the right path.
