THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president K Surendran on Monday said that only the chief minister knows to whom the smuggled gold was given. Surendran also alleged that the Chief Minister was shooting questions back to Amit Shah as he did not have proper answers for Shah's questions. Amit Shah's questions are the questions of the people of Kerala, Surendran said.
"The gold brought from the Gulf was sold here and the dollars were smuggled abroad. The Chief Minister should answer the questions raised. The woman police officer's statement that the ED officials forced Swapna Suresh to mention the CM's name clearly shows that that police force is doing PR work for the CM," Surendran said.
"The BJP has seen several threats. We will move forward in the same way as Pinarayi Vijayan wants to go. Pinarayi Vijayan is spreading lies. The audio recording of Swapna Suresh was released by the CPM. They are the ones who forced the woman police officer to give the statement," he added.
