KASARGOD: The Neethi Yatra, to be staged by Walayar victims’ mother will start today. The protest yatra will be from Kasargod to Parassala. The yatra demands re-investigation in the case and action against the guilty officials.

The Neethi Yatra begins from the base of the signature tree where the endosulfan victims of Kasargode had protested. After the reception in various constituencies, the yatra will end at Parassala on April 4.

The yatra is led by Walayar Neethi Samithi. The girls’ mother had staged a protest in Palakkad demanding action against police officers who subverted the case. She later tonsured her head and protested.
