KOCHI: The Jacobite faction’s bishop Joseph Mar Gregorious has said that the church faction will consider all fronts on an equal footing. This time, the votes of church followers should be the votes of the church. Votes should be cast for the existence and future of the church. He also added that the Christian faction should not lose any more churches in the state.
“The Jacobite faction has successfully convinced the centre that justice was denied to us. Ahead of the polls, the church faction has also held talks with BJP. We have convinced them about our problems. We are inquiring who can deliver justice to us,” the bishop said.
Voting for the church doesn’t indicate that the Jacobite faction will form a political party or it will field candidates in the polls. In the coming days, the management committee will convene a meeting. The decision of the panel will be final and after that, the church’s stand will be communicated with the believers.
