v-muraleedharan

THRISSUR: Union Minister V Muraleedhran has said that the CPI appears to have lost its relevance and the plight of its state secretary Kanam Rajendran is now being seen by everybody.

"Vijayan today likes the symbol of two leaves (of new ally - Jose K.Mani's party - Kerala Congress ( M) than his own party's flag. It was Vijayan who decided the candidate of Mani's party at the Piravom seat. The stage has come that Vijayan has the attitude, that he will decide everything," added Muraleedharan.

"The CPI-M has disintegrated everywhere except Kerala and here, too, it will soon disintegrate because of the arrogance of Vijayan. Everybody saw the open aggression at few places, where CPI-M activists were out in the streets," added Muraleedharan.

Reacting to Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran on the Sabarimala women entry issue, the Union MoS said the pain of Devasom Minister Kadakampally Surendran over incidents that took place in Sabarimala is a special pain that happens when the Assembly election approaches.

Earlier in the day, Surendran said that the events that perspired following the Supreme Court verdict 'pained' him - presumably referring to the protests and the forcible entry of several women into the temple. He assured that the ruling LDF government would implement the final verdict of the court only after consultation with devotees, political parties and the general public.
