KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Friday came down heavily on the state government for not taking any action against PV Anwar MLA despite finding out that he has violated the Land Reforms Act. As per the Land Reforms Act, a person can hold a maximum of 15 acres of land. However, PV Anwar himself had informed the Election Commission that he holds 207 acres of land. This was mentioned in the affidavit filed by Anwar during the previous assembly election. The high court slammed the government after Malappuram native KV Shaji pointed out the violation by Anwar.
