PATHANAMTHITTA: At a time when LDF’s poll campaign is centring around Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, CPM polit bureau member M A Baby has come up with open criticism. The senior CPM leader’s jibe is issued, when other leaders are campaigning that the state was able to survive the flood and the problems unleashed by the pandemic due to the administrative acumen of the chief minister.
M A Baby has criticised that Kerala was able to overcome the diverse problems that it faced in the past five years not only because of the CM’s leadership. He was speaking on the inaugural session of LDF’s election convention held at Thiruvalla. The polit bureau member said that the state survived the pandemic and the devastating floods with the coordinated activities of the chief minister’s colleagues, people’s representatives, public officials, local body institutions, voluntary workers and media persons.
“Studying issues in detail and informing the measures taken to the people is considered as a strong point as far as the government is concerned. Kerala has the ability to face and overcome any issue. The chief minister and the left front knew the fact that using that ability Kerala can find a solution to any crisis,” he said.
