THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Oommen Chandy has denied the rumors that he will contest in Puthuppally and Nemom. Speaking to the media, Chandy said he has never competed in two places at once and that has no plans to contest like that.

When asked if there was any need for such uncertainty as to who the candidate in Nemom is, Chandy said he had nothing to say about it. He added that uncertainty will change.

He said his position regarding candidature was made clear in the morning. He said he came to know about him possibly entering the fray through a call and that he doesn't know anything more. Currently, strong candidates are contesting in all the constituencies. Oommen Chandy added that the same will happen in Nemom.
