THRISSUR: Actor and MP Suresh Gopi is under treatment as the list of BJP candidates is about to be announced. It is suspected the actor has developed pneumonia. Reports said the doctors have advised him to take rest for ten days.

Meantime, the BJP will announce their candidates today. The announcement will be after leaving some constituencies like Kazhakoottam. Suresh Gopi may be the candidate in Thrissur. The selection panel had on Saturday approved the list submitted by the state unit with some changes. The selection committee met yesterday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP state chief K Surendran had the other day asserted that an agreement has been reached on the candidates for 115 seats. Surendran said that the candidates in all the constituencies would not be announced tomorrow and that the candidates in some important constituencies would be announced only after knowing the candidates of other fronts.
