KOZHIKODE: Congress leader K Muraleedharan has hinted that he will be contesting from Nemom. Leaders including Ramesh Chennithala, Oommen Chandy and K C Venugopal had spoken with him last night. Murali said as he was MP, all the three leaders sought relaxation for him from the central leadership.

The high command will decide today whether he should contest or not. The UDF is confident of winning from Nemom. There is no need to propagate that Nemom is something miraculous. You can win from there if you are a good candidate. Victory is assured if you are a Congress candidate. The votes of the Congress and the UDF scattered as the seat was given to a party that had no roots. It should be integrated, said Muraleedharan.

The false propaganda of the Marxist party will not yield any results this time. Nemom is not the stronghold of the BJP. Rajagopal himself has given the answer for it. He said that he would reach the constituency tomorrow if the party decides to field him.
