THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Kerala from March 30 to April 2 to campaign for the BJP in the Assembly elections. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will arrive in the capital today to mark the beginning of the campaign by various national leaders and chief ministers. Biplab Kumar Deb, who will inaugurate the Kattakada, Vattiyoorkavu and Thiruvananthapuram constituency conventions, will also inaugurate the Kovalam and Aruvikkara mandalam committee offices. He will arrive at 10.45 am and will inaugurate the Kovalam election committee office at 3 pm. The election convention of BJP candidate PK Krishnadas in Kattakada will be inaugurated at 4 pm at Malayinkeezhu bank auditorium. The Aruvikkara election committee officer will be inaugurated at 5.30 pm. Later, he will inaugurate the election convention of VV Rajesh, the candidate in Vattiyoorkavu constitency, at Peroorkada Kausthubham auditorium. After inaugurating the election convention of Thiruvananthapuram constituency candidate Krishnakumar at 7.20 pm at Gandhi Park, he will return to Tripura at night.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Smriti Irani, BJP national president J.P. Nadda, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, star campaigners Kushboo and Vijayashanti will also be in Kerala for the campaign. Amit Shah will be in the state on March 24, 25 and April 3 while JP Nadda will campaign on March 27 and 31. Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani and Kushboo will be in Kerala on March 28, Yogi Adityanath on March 27, while Vijayashanti will campaign pm March 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31 and April 4.
