THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior Congress leader K Sudhakran has said that he lost all hope when the official list of candidates came out. He also said that the actions of the Congress leadership are condemnable. The senior leader also complained that K C Venugopal gave seats to his sycophants in the name of high command.
“The inclusion of names in the list due to high command’s intervention was a new practice. The Kerala leaders have misled the high command. Many were fielded without even considering their winning chances. Our opinions and observations were ignored,” he said.
“All understandings ended in vain in Irikkur and justice will not be served there. I haven’t thought about contesting against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Dharmadam,” Sudhakaran told presspersons.
Meanwhile, Sudhkaran also added that he is not interested to continue in the post of KPCC working president. “I am not interested in namesake posts. I am not resigning now as it will wound the party,” the senior leader added.
