PALAKKAD: Palakkad diocese has proclaimed support to metro man E Sreedharan who is contesting as BJP’s candidate in the district. The Roman Catholic Palakkad diocese has declared support to E Sreedharan. E Sreedharan has visited the Bishop’s house and has met Bishop Jacob Mannatodam. It was after the meeting that the bishop said that the church faction supports him.

Bishop Mannathottam said that Sreedharan has never committed any corruption therefore he will be given all support and blessings. It is for the first time in the state’s electoral history that a Church faction is directly supporting a BJP candidate.

“Have heard much about Sreedharan’s life. His life is a model for the youth in the state. We are wishing in all success in this phase of the poll campaign,” the bishop told media.
