THRISSUR: Mother of Walayar girls will contest against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Dharmadom. She will contest as an independent candidate. The mother of the girls said that it is her only chance to raise her voice against the chief minister who assured to stand with her family to deliver justice to her children.

The mother of the girls said, “As part of my campaign across Kerala, I have visited Dharmadom constituency. Some mothers in that area had welcomed me at that time. I gave a letter to them. In the letter, I requested them to tell those who come to campaign for the chief minister that a mother who shaved off her head to deliver justice to her slain daughters. Following this, many mothers from Dharmadom called me and asked me to tell this directly to the people. That is why I have decided to contest in Dharmadom. She said the decision was taken after consulting with the protests panel.
