KOCHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has sought the details of Kerala Legislative Assembly Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan's foreign trips. The agency has handed over a letter to the State Protocol Officer asking to submit the details of all foreign trips of the Speaker.

It is learnt that the action was taken on the basis of the contradictory RTI documents that came up in connection with the Speaker's trips. The Speaker's office and the UAE Consul General's office in India provided contradictory information on the same inquiry. When the Speaker's Office replied that he had travelled abroad 11 times, the UAE Consul General's office stated that he had travelled to UAE alone 21 times.
