ALAPPUZHA: The Congress party worker who pasted the poster of Aritha Babu in Kayamkulam got beaten up. Naushad from the 12th ward in Krishanpuram panchayat was thrashed by an unknown miscreant. The incident happened on Tuesday night.

Naushad said while he was pasting the poster on the wall, an unknown person who came on a bike thrashed him. Sources say that he was beaten up by a serial offender, accused of many crimes.
