KOTTAYAM: All are interested to know the details of assets given by leaders given in their individual affidavits along with their nomination papers. Former chief minister Oommen Chandy has only Rs 1,000 with them. His wife has only Rs 5,000 and his son Chandy Oommen has Rs 7,500.

Oommen Chandy has Rs 67, 704 as bank investment and his wife has Rs 24, 83,092 as bank deposit. Chandy Oommen has Rs 14,58,570 as bank deposit. Oommen Chandy has no vehicle of his own. The only vehicle used by him is a Maruti Swift car registered under his wife’s name. Oommen Chandy has 38 gms of gold and his wife has 296 gms of gold.

The total assets registered on Oommen Chandy, his wife, and son will be around Rs 74.37 lakh. They have land property worth Rs 3.41 crore in Puthupally and Oommen Chandy also has a home in Thiruvananthapuram of 2,200 square feet. There are no other liabilities in Oommen Chandy’s name. Meanwhile, her wife and son have a total liability of Rs 31,49, 529.

Whereas opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has Rs 25,000 in his accounts. His wife Anitha Ramesh has Rs 15,000. In addition to this Ramesh Chennithala have Rs 5,89,121.12 in the SBI branch in Delhi parliament house. He also has Rs 13,57,575 in Treasury Savings Bank in Thiruvananthapuram.

He has invested Rs 42,973 in Dhanalaksmi Bank, Shasthamangalam. He also has Rs 6,16, 246 under his wife’s name in the SBI branch, Delhi Janpath. He has another Rs 32 lakh in two separate accounts in that branch itself.
