THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Kadakampallly Surendran has retaliated against opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala’s allegation of adding bogus voters to the list. “It is a demeaning allegation that the inclusion of bogus voters happened as part of the CPM-BJP deal. Does the opposition leader have nothing to say other than such cheap political allegations?,” Kadakampally asked.

When presspersons told him that Chennithala has publicized the exact number of bogus voters from certain constituencies. He replied that if Chennithala has the exact statistics, then those bogus voters might be added by Chennithala himself. Kadakampally Surendran is the LDF candidate from Kazhakootam. Chennithala has alleged that 4,506 bogus voters were reported from Kazhakootam.

The opposition leader in his press meet has revealed the number of bogus voters in Kazhakoottam, Uduma, Kollam, Thrikkarippur, Nadapuram, and Koothuparambu constituencies. Chennithala also alleged that CPM and BJP are trying to sabotage the election process via bogus voting. Chennithala also added that he will file a complaint before the poll panel on the issue.
