CHERUVATHUR: A youth committed suicide after killing his two children at Madivayal near Cheruvathur in Kasargod. The youth identified as Rookesh (40) was found hanging after killing his two children Sivanand aged six and Vaidehi aged ten in their under construction house near Welfare UP School. He was found hanging in the terrace of his house. The two children were also found hanging. There were slap marks on his daughter’s face.

It is believed that he took the drastic step following issues with his wife Savitha, a native of Kanhangad. After inquest by Chanthera police, the bodies have been shifted to Kannur Govt Medical College in Pariyaram.
