NEW DELHI: Former Congress leader PC Chacko, who left the party and joined NCP, has said that many state-level leaders will leave Congress in the coming days. PC Chacko told reporters in Delhi that the Congress was going through a severe crisis and that many leaders, including K Sudhakaran, had told him that they did not want to stay in the party.
Chacko said that many of the leaders that contacted him will leave the Congress in the coming days. The leadership is unable to control powerful state leaders like Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. PC Chacko said he does not think the Congress even has a high command.
However, Congress leader K Sudhakaran MP denied the allegations made by PC Chacko. He said it is a lie that he informed Chacko that he wanted to leave the Congress. Sudhakaran said he had not spoken to him in recent days.
