THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sabarimala is a closed chapter, said CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran. He said the problem is only in the minds of some and the Left Government had not given anything against the affidavit filed by Prayar Gopalakrishnan.

Kanam said the controversy related to Sabarimala was not created by Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran. It was discussed by the Congress. Should wait till the final verdict comes and that is courtesy, Kanam said while replying to the NSS.

CPI leaders are switching to the BJP as seats were denied and this is opportunistic politics, criticised Kanam. He said the opposition don’t have candidates to contest polls.
