CHIRAYINKEEZHU: Two persons were killed after the car they were travelling in fell into Vamanapuram River. The dead have been identified as Jyothi Dutt (55) and Madhu (58), natives of Chirayinkeezhu. The accident took place when the road near the river collapsed. The vehicle was on its way to attend a funeral. The road near the river collapsed and this is the reason for the accident.
