THRISSUR: Three of a family were found hanging at Kandassankadavu Mambully in Thrissur.

Gopalan (78), his wife Mallika (70) and son Rijoy (40) at Mambully near Korathu family temple, were found hanging in their house. Gopalan and Rijoy were found hanging in the front room and Mallika in a room near the kitchen.

Three suicide notes were recovered from the house. The issue of Rijoy’s married life is cited as the reason to take the extreme step. The locals said the councillor who came to solve the issue behaved badly. The Anthicaud police have reached the place.
