THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former CPM general secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said that if Communists get worse then they are like rotten eggs. He was replying to questions of CPM CPI workers becoming NDA candidates.

“There could be opportunists within and outside communist parties. When these traitors take such a stand they are not called communists anymore. When communists get worse, they become worse than a rotten egg,” Kodiyeri said.

“LDF is aiming for a three-digit seat figure, this assembly poll. Already we are sure about 95 seats,” he added. He was speaking in an interview given to a media outlet.
