CHENGANNUR: The Left Front has filed a complaint against 'Porali Shaji', a social media page. According to a complaint lodged with the district superintendent of police, a defamation campaign was being carried out using the name and photo of LDF candidate Saji Cherian from Chengannur through fake accounts named 'Porali Shaji'.

LDF election committee officials said that the campaign was degrading and deliberately designed to undermine communal harmony. Election Committee president Adv. Joykutty Jose, Secretary Adv. P Vishwambharapanicker informed that they have sought an investigation into the source of the social media post.
