THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the entry of K Muraleedharan as the candidate of Congress in Nemom, the BJP has come up with strategies to overcome the fierce fight. The booths are divided into 43 strongholds and extensive campaign strategies are in place at the grassroots level.

Kummanam Rajashekaran evaluates that the constituency has nearly 50,000 votes and if confirmed that, the party is sure to win. The BJP's main tactic is padayatra and is trying to seek votes by meeting each voter in person. The tally of votes since 2014 is boosting the BJP's confidence. When Shashi Tharoor won the last Lok Sabha elections, Kumman garnered 58,513 votes. Muraleedharan is not as strong as Tharoor, said Kummanam.
