KASARGOD: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala came down heavily on the surveys once again. He alleged that there is an attempt to sabotage the public sentiments through surveys. There is an effort to stain the image of the opposition leader also. The main medias in Kerala are behaving unilaterally. Many surveys were conducted before the selection of candidates and the election manifesto were released.

Meantime, the opposition leader alleged irregularities in the voters list again. He wrote a letter to the chief electoral officer pointing another serious irregularity in addition to the manipulation of the style mentioned earlier. The newly found irregularity is the creation of fake voters under other names and addresses using the same person's photo. The complaint filed by Chennithala mentioned a new type of irregularity found in Kozhikode North constituency.

Chennithala had earlier complained that fake votes were created by repeating many times a person’s photos and details in the voters' list. The Election Commission had stated in a press conference yesterday that it was true. The commission also ordered an inquiry into the matter.
