KOLLAM: A recent report claims that Kovoor Kunjumon MLA was manhandled by the Chief Minister's security guard. The incident took place while the MLA was walking with the Chief Minister to attend the LDF meeting at Kunnathur.

According to sources, the CM's security guard grabbed the MLA's neck and pushed him while the latter was walking towards the venue with the CM. However, the MLA's office responded that the MLA was accidentally pushed by the security officer while controlling the crowd. Kovoor Kunjumon said the security official tried to take him and the CM to the stage.

Meanwhile, UDF candidate Ullas Kovooor has come up demanding the removal of the official who insulted the MLA. He also demanded that the Chief Minister should apologize to the voters in Kunnathur.
