THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The allegation of opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala that the CPM is behind the dual votes in the state is striking them back. The latest reports that came in said Perumbavoor MLA Eldhose Kunnappilly and his wife Mariyamma Abrhama have dual votes. His one vote is in Moovattupuzha Maradi panchayat where he stays. His second vote is in Perumbavoor where he is the MLA. He said that he is not aware of their dual votes. The CPM activists have decided to complain against the MLA’s dual votes.

It was reported yesterday that UDF candidate Shobha Subin from Kaipamangalam have votes in three places. In order to show that dual votes are rampant in the state, the opposition leader had released details of a woman having five votes with evidence. The next day the woman came forward saying that she is a Congress activist.

Chennithala while talking to a channel alleged that the voters list in Kerala was not transparent and that the CPM conspired to add around four lakh fake voters. There is a planned move to sabotage the elections. The AICC team will meet the election commission and file a complaint on it. The leader said that his next goal is to prevent fake votes.
