THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister of state for external affairs, V Muraleedharan has said that Jose K Mani has only conveyed the concerns of the Christian communities in the state. “Jose has only highlighted the same concerns expressed by KCBC and other Christian communities in the state. Those who do not align with terrorism must support with genuine this concern. The Christain communities in the state are dissatisfied with both LDF and UDF,” Muraleedharan told media persons here.

“During UDF’s regime, Muslim League has often bargained for more ministerial berths. The people must rethink whether they should allow this dominance anymore. Chief minister’s allegation of unholy electoral nexus between UDF and BJP in Thiruvananthapuram has no basis,” the union minister said.

“Chief minister’s close friend Kamal Haasan has said that CPM demands money in return for joining any political front. Therefore the CPM leadership, who made the party itself a selling commodity has no moral basis to issue such statements. The chief minister must at least show the decency not to make such naive statements again,” he added.

Kerala Congress(M) leader Jose K Mani has said that the doubts over Love Jihad must be addressed. Clarity should be attained over the authenticity of such allegations. He also opined that the issue is being widely discussed in the general public. But when the statement triggered a row, he said that he and his party strongly support the Left front’s declared stand on the issue. He also didn’t respond to queries about whether love jihad exists? Jose K Mani was forced to change his stand after CPM leaders rejected his statement.
