KOCHI: Congress candidates, including K Muraleedharan, have approached the High Court seeking special attention to the postal votes of those over 80 years of age. Apart from Muraleedharan, other Congress candidates such as Anad Jayan and Deepak Joy approached the court regarding the issue.

In their petition, the Congress candidates said that the postal votes of those above the age of eighty are more likely to be manipulated. There are a large number of postal votes this year. So these votes are more likely to be rigged. If this happens then it will have an impact on determining success, the candidates pointed out.
