NEW DELHI: From April 1, air travel will become costlier as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has decided to hike the air security fee (ASF). DGCA has informed that the price of the domestic services will be hiked by Rs 200 while that of international services will be hiked by Rs 879.

Children under the age of two, diplomats, airline staff on duty and those traveling as part of the UN peacekeeping force are exempted from paying ASF.
