KANNUR: Health Minister K K Shailaja said that Covid vaccination will be beneficial to Kerala in two months. Electioneering cannot be stopped due to the deadly pandemic, she said.

The LDF is campaigning following Covid norms and had instructed everyone to use masks despite the crowds, she said while talking to a private channel.

2389 people were confirmed of the virus in the state yesterday. 58,557 samples were tested. The test positivity rate is 4.08. 16 deaths were also confirmed. 24,650 people are undergoing treatment now.
