THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said that he is firm on the allegation that there are 4.34 lakh double votes. The Election Commission's stand that there are only 38,000 double votes is surprising and all the complaints are based on clear evidence, he said.

He said that he is not saying anything now as the case is before the court and complete details will be revealed tomorrow. The LDF won the panchayats by fraudulent votes and they are trying to repeat this victory, alleged Chennithala.

Meantime, the opposition leader criticised the government in the deep-sea fishing issue. Not cancelling the deep sea MoU is a trick. The original MoU was not annulled for implementation if came to power again. It is a trick because of the huge amount of bribe received, he said.
