KASARAGOD: With only six days for the assembly elections, the political Kerala is gazing on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s hint regarding the ‘bomb’ propagated by his political opponents. Some were doing research on how to manufacture lies and there is a talk that a huge bomb will be dropped in the next few days, Pinarayi said while addressing a LDF convention at Periya in Kasargod.
The chief minister said our land is ready to face any bomb. Some are propagating that a big bomb will be dropped in the coming days. People know the intention of such campaigns. No lie can stand before true facts. Just keep that in mind. They can survive only till the real facts appear. The people engaged in circulating falsehood think that if lies are told at the end of the campaigning, the government won’t get enough time to reply to it. We will survive the lies. The chief minister ended his speech saying the LDF will retain power in the state.
Pinarayi also asked LDF workers to exercise restraint and beware of new lies that would tarnish their personal image. With this, there is a heated debate within the party over chief minister's bomb.
There may be a move from the side of the central agencies to quiz the chief minister. There are talks in CPM's cyber groups that a notice may be issued to him before election day.
Another thing being circulated in cyber groups is that there may be a raid in some IT firms in Kerala and Bengaluru related to the families of Left leaders. As the chief minister’ speech was in Periya, a third possibility may be something around the area. It is estimated that there may be an unexpected move from the side of the central agencies in the Periya double murder. The media got hints earlier that there would be some crucial revelations before the elections. In any case, political Kerala is waiting to know whether the bomb mentioned by the chief minister will drop or not.
