KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has responded to Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi's criticism that the LDF government is pro-corporate. "Everyone knows who ruled when corporates got fat. It was Congress that initiated the sale of PSUs", CM Vijayan said.

The CM also alleged that the BJP was continuing the policies initiated by the Congress.

"The decision to implement the globalization policy was taken by the Congress government. The Modi government has intensified the implementation of Congress policies", he added.

Priyanka Gandhi had said that Kerala politics has turned violent because of the policies of the LDF. "Political assassinations must end. The politics of anger and hatred are a big challenge", she said.

Priyanka also demanded the formation of a peace department to end violence and violence.
