THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM came forward levelling serious allegations against opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala. The party alleged that Chennithala leaked the details of the voters. CPM politburo member M A Baby alleged that Chennithala published the details of double votes in a website hosted from Singapore. It was not published with the consent of the individuals and is a serious legal issue, he said and further added that the move was an invasion of privacy.

Chennithala published the list of fake and double voters in the website yesterday. Within hours, the Operation Twins website went viral with the detailed list of millions of fake voters. The website has listed three types of fakers. Those on the voters list with different names using the same photo, a voter in two constituencies and those in different booths in the same constituency. The list was based on the assembly constituencies in all the districts of the state.
