KONNI: The people of Kerala are ready to bring the BJP to power, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi while speaking at the BJP’s election campaign meeting in Pathanamthitta. Metro Man E Sreedharan would be a person changing the course of the Kerala politics. He harshly criticised the Right and Left Fronts.
Modi started his speech chanting Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa, mentioned the names of the temples in Pathanamthitta and remembered poet Pandalam Kerala Varma. He also acknowledged the hard working party workers.
Modi said Kerala has changed a lot and the crowds seen here are proof of that. Political observers in Delhi do not understand the change in Kerala. This is the land of Lord Ayyappa. I am very happy to have reached the land of spirituality. The people of Kerala are telling the UDF and the LDF that they don’t want them. The people here are ready to accept the development agenda of the BJP. The people of Kerala are ready to bring the BJP to power. The professional community is all praise for BJP, saying it stands for bringing progressive and educated BJP, saying it stands for bringing progressive and educated people into politics and cited the example of Metro Man E Sreedharan. Both the fronts looted all sectors. They hate the people, he said.
Modi said the LDF criticized the culture of Kerala. The Left used agents to destroy the holy places in Kerala. Devotees are not criminals. He added that the lies of the Left would not last long, the ideology of the Left could not destroy the culture of the country and that BJP workers would resist any attempt to destroy the culture of the state. LDF and UDF have committed their own seven deadly sins in Kerala, Modi said referring to the various scams.
