BENGALURU: In a shocking incident, a 23-year-old man was attacked and stabbed in Mangaluru for travelling with a young woman from another religion. Police said that the youth was attacked by Bajrang Dal activists. The incident took place at a coastal area in Mangaluru on Thursday night.

The man and woman, who were classmates, were travelling on a private bus when the group obstructed the bus before beating up the man. The youth, who was stabbed by the group, is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. Police have arrested 7 or 8 persons in connection with the incident. Police said that they will soon catch 4 more Bajrang Dal activists who were involved in the attack.
