TALASSERY: Regional leaders of CPM has condemned Annie Raja’s stand over the Sabarimala issue. The leaders have criticised Annie Raja via Facebook. The first CPM leader to respond against the senior CPI leader was the Kathiroor branch secretary. The current attacks on Annie Raja are based on a speech made by her on women’s entry into Sabarimala.

The Kathiroor branch secretary in his Facebook post has enquired how to get Annie Raja’s personal contact number. Ramesh Kondoth, the CPM representative in Pannoor block panchayat and chief of panchayat standing committee, responded below the post. He commended that she rose to positions in CPI, just because she was the wife of CPI leader A Raja and she doesn’t know to behave rationally in different situations.

Whereas CPI leadership has condemned CPM leaders insulting Annie Raja as it violates basic etiquettes in coalition politics. The leadership also pointed out that she came to the party through student politics. Annie Raja has spoken supporting the women’s entry to Sabarimala in the election meeting held in Kathiroor on Wednesday.
