THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP candidate Kummanam Rajshekharan has said that there is an unholy nexus between Congress and the Marxist party in Nemom. “Both of them are working together against me. The minorities in the constituency are with me. I won’t allow Nemom to go into a coma,” he opined.

A strong triangular fight is going on in Nemom. The basis for the Congress- Marxist ties is based on the notion of the enemy’s enemy is a friend. Kummanam Rajashekharan also alleged that the chief minister’s statement that his party will close BJP’s account in Nemom should be understood in this background.

In Nemom, where the toughest electoral fight is being witnessed, all three fronts have fielded their most experienced leaders with the sole intention to capture the constituency. CPM’s V Shivankutty and K Muraleedharan, senior Congress leader and Vadakara M P are going on with strong campaigns to win the people’s mandate.
