THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) working chairman S Bhaskara Pillai on Saturday said that PC George was expelled from the party.
Speaking during a press conference, Bhaskara Pillai also stated that his party will support the UDF in the assembly elections.

PC George will be contesting the assembly elections as a candidate of Janapaksham. The decision to expel George from the party came as the campaign entered its final stages. Bhaskara Pillai is the new chairman of the Janapaksham.

Vice chairman Reji K Cherian and general secretary Jayan Mamburam were also present at the press conference. On March 7, there were reports of a split in Janapaksham.
