Chief Minister Pinaryai Vijayan came to the fore challenging the UDF in development and welfare activities. Within hours, former chief minister Oommen Chandy took up the challenge. Chandy faced Pinarayi’s challenge by enumerating the various activities of the two governments.

The chief minister replied via a Facebook post saying that many of the arguments raised were untrue and the true facts are being kept before the people once again.

The question was raised with the opposition as to whether the development of Kerala should be discussed. Saw former chief minister Oommen Chandy replying to it. The achievements of the LDF government have been recognized by the public through self-talk figures and achievements which the people can see for themselves. If compared to the previous UDF government, the LDF government is far ahead in many areas. Many of the arguments raised by him are untrue and facts concealed and so the real facts are placed before the people.
