KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is staging a massive show in Dharmadom in the remaining last hours of the election campaign. A reception will be accorded to him in eight centres. CPM Kannur district secretary M V Jayarajan is along with him. Actors Indrans and Harishree Ashokan are among the celebrities accompanying the chief minister in the road show. Hundreds of people have lined up on both sides of the road to greet the chief minister.

As campaigning comes to a close today, the fronts are sharpening their attacks to overcome the ban on jamboree. Meantime, the ‘Captain’ adorned to the chief minister during campaigning has paved way for a heated debate between the CPM and the LDF in the last hours.

When the Left Front is working hard to ensure continued rule, the UDF is fighting with all their might to regain power. The NDA which has declared that it will be a decisive force in Kerala this time as a challenge to both the fronts, has taken many constituencies to the unpredictable level of the triangular contest.
