KANNUR: Renowned actors Indrans and Harishree Asokan accompanied Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on his campaign in the Dharmadom constituency on Sunday. They both participated in Pinarayi Vijayan's roadshow. The two accompanied the CM throughout the roadshow on Sunday.

CPM Kannur district secretary MV Jayarajan also participated in the roadshow with him. Pinarayi was given a warm reception at eight centres. Hundreds of people lined up on both sides of the road to greet the Chief Minister. Indrans and Ashok returned after participating in the roadshow and urging the people to vote for the CM.

"Many chief ministers have come before us. Everyone has been honored. However, when we came across unheard tragedies and epidemics in the recent past, there was one man who enquired about our well-being and ensured that we had food, clothing and place to sleep. During those times, that elderly man had even enquired about the well-being of dogs and cats on the streets and monkeys in the woods. That man should continue. This family must move forward with great prosperity," Indrans said while lavishing praises on the CM.

"We all know how comrade Pinarayi Vijayan protected Kerala during testing times such as the floods, Covid and Nipah. I am sure that he will continue in power. It has already become clear to me while participating in this demonstration. I am sure the next government will achieve tenfold," Harisree Ashokan said.
