MAHE: A nine-year-old boy died in Mahe on Sunday after being hit by an election campaign vehicle during the crowded finale of open campaigning. The deceased has been identified as Aadish Lal, son of Mahe native Vishwalal. According to sources, Aadish was hit by a campaign vehicle while he was following the NDA candidate's campaign vehicle on a bicycle.

The accident took place at around 6.15 pm yesterday near the Ayyappa Mutt on the beach. Mother: Dhrishya, brother: Alan Lal.
