KOZHIKODE: Voting for the state assembly is progressing. A long queue of voters is witnessed in most of the booths in the morning itself. A technical snag was reported at booth 30 A in the Kozhikode North constituency. The snag witnessed in the booth at Westhill St Michael's School.

A technical snag was also reported at the booth in Shornur. The error is in the booth of Shornur Kailiad School. M B Rajesh, the LDF candidate of Thrithala has vote here. The voting machine at the booth where the chief minister is voting at Pinarayi School in Dharmadam constituency also faced a technical error. The error has been solved and polling has resumed.

An error was noticed during mock polling in the voting machines in four places. The voting machine malfunctioned at booth No 107 of St. Sebastian's UP School in Thodupuzha, booth No 33 of Koliyadukkam Govt UP in Kasargod, a booth in Kozhikode district and in booth No 95 of C K M L L P School at Panakkad in Malappuram.

Mock polling delayed at Thripunithura Palace School due to power outage. The general elections in 140 constituencies and by-elections in Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency are being held today. This is people’s verdict to the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly.

This is the second time Kerala is going to the polling booths during Covid period. 957 candidates are contesting for the assembly. Polling is till 7 pm.
