THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Renowned Malayalam poet Murugan Kattakada, who penned the songs for the LDF during the assembly election campaign, received a death threat for praising Marxism in a song. Following this, the poet lodged a complaint with Thiruvananthapuram Rural SP and Cybercrime police station. In his complaint, Murugan Kattakada stated that he received death threats over the phone on Wednesday night. His song 'Manushyan Aavanam' was the source of provocation. Murugan said that the caller had verbally abused him and threatened him for praising Marxism in the song.
