PALODE: A resident of the Chengara protest site was trampled to death by a wild elephant on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Sasthamnada native Sadanandan (65). His body was found inside the deep forest near Unakkathodu.
According to sources, Sadanandan had gone to the forest two days ago to collect leaves for the goat. His relatives searched the forest as he did not return within 1 day. The body was found trampled by an elephant. Following the information, the forest department officials and the police took action. He is survived by his wife Subhadra.
