KOZHIKODE: The medical board will be convened in the morning to assess the health condition of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan undergoing treatment for Covid-19 at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. In the preliminary examination conducted last night, the doctors assessed that the chief minister has no health issues. A seven-member team led by the superintendent is attending on him.
The chief minister’s grandson too have contracted the disease in the test conducted at the medical college. The chief minister’s daughter Veena and son-in-law Muhammed Riyaz are undergoing treatment for the disease in the medical college. The chief minister was confirmed of the disease while he was in quarantine in Kannur. The chief minister contracted the disease at a time when the transmission of the disease is severe in the state. The chief minister had taken the first shot of the vaccine.
